Down Goes the Tree

When do you take down your Christmas tree? It is said that Christmas season is considered over 12 days after Christmas.

Ok so maybe we are a little late on taking our tree down, but I have been dreading this day since the day we put it up. There’s something about having Christmas décor out that makes the house feel more like a home.

Thank goodness I had one of my helpers home to help me take down all of the ornaments. This was the first year that the kiddos really noticed their special ornaments given to them on their first Christmas from their Auntie Andi, my very best friend. Annabelle made a point to move her ornament every day… too cute ❤

Every year I slowly fill the tree with more white and burlap. I must say this year was my favorite tree yet! All of my favorites came from Hobby Lobby. I highly recommend going as soon as they start putting everything out, the good stuff goes fast.

“Don’t worry about the size of your tree. To a child, they are all 30 feet tall.”

Goodbye Christmas… until next year!
